Cleopatra’s Nose is the course where we look at historical events and ask the question WHAT IF ..?
If circumstances had been different would subsequent events have followed a different course?
In terms three and four we plan to revisit some topics from Series One to Five. They are:
- From New Amsterdam to New York
- King John and Magna Carta
- American Independence
- The Battle of Long Tan
- Thomas Austin and his rabbits
- The Opening of Japan
- Wagner and ‘Mad’ King Ludwif
- The Battle of Jutland
- The Wall Street Crash
New members as well as current and past class members are welcome.
